Anaya Tribal is a professional bellydance company based in Phoenix, AZ. We perform improvisational American Tribal Style (ATS) Bellydance as well innovative & experimental fusion dance including tribal fusion, gothic/punk fusion and more. We also incorporate prop work into our dynamic performances such as swords, veils, fire tray, palm flame and fans. Our costumes vary for the occasion from traditional gypsy style to urban flair. Our high energy world fusion belly dance performance company can be seen performing and teaching from west to east valley! We are proud to now call our new studio, Plaza de Anaya our home. We perform for local charity events like AIDS Walk
Anaya Tribal also travels throughout the Southwest and west coast to vend, teach and perform at various bellydance conventions, festivals and other regional faires. For a list of our vending and performance schedule please see our performance and vending page.
~Qadesh~ Qadesh, Anaya Tribal's student troupe, formed from the dedication of our advanced students. Practicing improvisational Tribal Style, Qadesh has given many students the opportunity to dance with their sisters at local events, festivals and open dances. This colorful group of dancers has worked through advanced level classes and are invited to become part of Qadesh. Once students have completed all Anaya Tribal classes, they are encouraged to take classes in specialty dance forms (ie. sword, veil, etc.) to continue their studies.
